anyone w/a small guest list? Ideas needed.

Hi girls,
I'm helping out a friend.  I'm not from this area so I this will help.  She wants a wedding venue that will hold 50-60 guests that has an outside area for the ceremony.

I'll even take suggestions w/out ceremony space if there is a nearby park or something.

Thanks girls!

I got married last year and had my reception at Unwined Restaurant in Manchester, NH. My guest list was 50 however they can handle up to 60. They do not have an outside location for a ceremony I ended up having mine at Pretty Park (Wagner Memorial Park) also in Manchester, NH.
Unwined is very reasonable for rates I paid about $35 per person and the park was free.

    I hope this helps!!!

Not sure what her budget is like, but the Bedford Village Inn accommodates smaller groups, I believe.  And they have and outdoor space for ceremonies, if my memory serves me correctly.  HTH!

I'm having my wedding at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, NH and my guest list is 75.  They might be able to work with a smaller wedding in the off season or on a Sunday or Friday.

Where in NH is she looking to get married? There are some locations in the Concord area that hold smaller receptions and are pretty!

The Greenhouse (at the Italian Farmhouse) in Plymouth, NH is a beautiful, small venue

Thanks girls.  All great suggestions.  She is looking to stay in Southern NH.  Between Salem, Nashua and Manchester I believe.

We had 80 guests at Bedford Village Inn and our ceremony on site in the garden.  The indoor space is lovely as well if you end up needing to move the wedding indoors due to rain.

It can get pricey quick there, but they offer a lot of options for different sized weddings.  They have smaller rooms in the restaurant for smaller crowds, and offer cocktail apps vs plated meals, etc. to help keep costs under control.  A lot of their information is on the website which gives you a good idea of what they can do.

We're having about 55 guests, at the Massabessic Audubon Center in Auburn, NH.  We're doing our ceremony in the field and the reception in the conference room so as to avoid renting a tent, as it's just not in the budget.  I've seen pictures of weddings in tents on the field and they are lovely.
