so i got a few text messages this morning to check out what happened to St. Mayr's church in new haven...where we are getting married...

i check wtnh.com and they say section of steeple collapses...I was almost in tears
granted it's completely irrational since we are not getting married for 10 months but still
anyway...the real story is a small piece of the steeple flew off but there was no damage!

end mini heart attack... everyone including my FI thinks i'm crazy for getting a little nervous...but i figured you girls would understand

I saw that too...I actually work right down the street from St. Mary's Church...I'm sure everything will be fine by the time your wedding comes

I think you should be ok in 10 months, everything should be fixed by then.

I saw that on the news this afternoon, too. That's really scary. I'm sure they'll have the area safe and running in top shape by the time your wedding rolls around though!

I would be nervous too, but its going to be fine. I work at Yale and we got 2 updates. They are in the process of fixing it now, so you should be perfect in 10 months!
