Thanks everyone! I will share your love for them with extra kisses and belly rubs.

Stewie is doing really well with her so far. I think he figures it's just another dog we are watching and she will eventually go home. So we'll see what happens when we do our drive cross country and get to the new house and she is still there! But he is being great, and they are getting along great. The only thing is that she pees in the house sometimes, or will piddle when she gets nervous. I'm trying to get her comfortable here and get her to stop doing that without scaring her.

Oh, I have. A few months ago. September maybe? I was pissed off at the Knot Gods for telling us how to respond to other posters. I was pissed off because when I was a newb, it was a free for all and I didn't get mollycoddled by the TK gods like newbs do now. I think it's unfair. My saying this has nothing to do with the current vibe of the community, or anyone who posts here, or anything like that. Like EIC said, it's on principle.

But again, if you think it's just a ploy for attention, have at it. I have plenty of ways to get in touch with all the friends I've made here, and I can interact with them with or without this board. My self esteem isn't such that I need confirmation about whether or not people want me around here. I know people like me. I've been here for almost three years, and I'm not insecure about how anybody in this community feels about me.

Well, I too find "omg E sucks now, it used to be so much better, blah blah blah" posts really obnoxious. I do. I get that. But that wasn't what I was trying to convey. I don't think E sucks. Like I said, I really enjoy the community here. But I don't like how TK has regulated it for a long time now.

LP, I think I see where you're coming from. Maybe. Occasionally there is a vibe that older posters feel the board is too "soft," too happy, too boring, too glitchy, etc. I don't really see any empty threats, but I don't understand why people are here if posting isn't fun anymore. That being said, I have a serious boner for LC because she's pretty cool. If I could think of an awesome way to spice things up, I would.

I appreciate the compliment but the bolded part is in no way true to anything I believe about this board. The board got soft because TK made us. That's not any single (or multiple) posters' fault, and truth be told, I don't think it's a bad thing. I'm mad that it wasn't that way when I was a wee little newb. I got my ass handed to me on mulitple occasions, then one day it's not cool to be snippy with anyone anymore. It's TK's fault. Posting IS fun, when TK isn't (I know we don't have confirmation on this) dictating what we can and can't talk about. If they're not doing that, then I really don't have any more complaints.

Can I just go out on a limb and guess that a bunch of newbs reported the FFF and got the thread removed and/or TK just started eating posts again? Birdie and I didn't delete FFF, and I haven't received any word from a KG that things are out of hand on E. I don't think anyone needs to change her behavior. I try to tell people if I think there's an issue rather than delete outright.
