How much for byob?

The venues we're looking at allow us to purchase/bring our own liquor.  I imagine this will help us save $ :)  Has anyone done this?  If so, can you give me an idea of how much the cost ended up being?  P.S. Caterer will provide glasses and bartender.

    We used the evite drink calculator to determine how much we needed.  It takes into account the number of guests and how heavy of drinkers they are.  Our wedding was in FL and the liquor store also allowed us to return any unopened cases of alcohol we had left over.

    Oh, and don't forget your mixers if the venue doesn't provide them.
