YES, YES, YES, it is shark week! Always good shows to watch a month before you go to St John. Can't do it, Can't watch them I tell you.

Back to work today. Running a little behind today playing domestic one. Laundry and a loaf of banana bread (made/ not eaten). Best get moving.

Morning, all! It was in the 50's here last night, so we slept with the windows open and the house fan on. Since it was chilly, that led to some sleepy snuggles. Bliss! Older daughter got up earlier than normal, fed and walked the dog, fed the cats, cleaned out the litter box, made the coffee, and got herself breakfast. What an awesome start to the week.

H is not happy that he is missing Shark Week due to Comcast being a ball of ass. Today Comcast and I are going to have ourselves a little battle since I have to go to their service center with all the boxes and demand to know why their shiiiiit isn't working.

We had a good weekend. H and I actually got to spend some time together for once, and I finished my lesson plans so that's a huge load off my shoulders.

I ordered a bunch of books off the local library website for my kindle but they want you to plug in your kindle to the computer to download them and I don't have the connector for it. All I want to do is read a book! I guess that means I have to :::gasp::: go to the library in person.

Morning everyone. Ski, when we snorkeled in St. Thomas and came across a group of sea turtles, FI told me that where there are turtles there are sharks. Freaked me out. My sister just left to head home they ended up wimping out on the cupcake crawl so we only ended up at two places. But I guess I tired them out because they both napped a lot this weekend. I am looking forward to this meeting, only because we have NO PLANS and I can sleep in.

It's a fantasy epic, Stacks. I'm not really a fantasy genre person but so far it's reading a lot like historical fiction (which is my favorite genre) and I'm really sucked in. There are five books published in the series thus far, and I have no hope of finishing them all before fall semester, but I'm hoping to at least get this one done before I have to sell my soul to the history department again.

OMG I am so excited for Wildfire this weekend. The unfortunate thing is that two friends, the ones who got me into firespinning to begin with, are still 11 and 12 on the waitlist for tickets. It's possible that they'll get them (in the last few days a bunch of people jump ship and sell their tickets to the waitlist, due to lack of funds, an inability to find a ride to CT, or other stuff getting in the way), but I'm going to be so sad if they don't make it.

Half the time my mouth can't keep up with my thoughts so my sentences come out jumbled or the wrong word is used. I just tell H, "You know what I mean" and move on. Luckily he, and my family, have come to understand Sesh talk.

Morning!

Our apartment roof was leaking yesterday (we live in a basement) and we figured it was because of the plumbing in the toilet on the first floor, we told the people that live upstairs (We are renting the basement of the house and the owners friends are renting the upstairs) & requested they not use to washroom on the first floor until it gets fixed, they still did and it started dumping water into the apartment. They stopped after that, and its getting fixed tomorrow.

FI's cousin went into labour yesterday morning and 28 hours later, still no baby. She's much stronger then me.

We went to MIL's for the weekend with full intentions on going to the beach Saturday and Sunday and it freaking raining all weekend. What a waste of a trip.

Good morning!! I woke up stinking early today. But I had weird dreams about my grandparents lake house that they sold over a decade ago. Now H is up and he is... hyper.... for lack of a better word. He keeps bounding around the room saying "moisture blast" because I gave him some Clinique Moisture Surge and he has decided moisture blast is a better name. *sigh*

And now he's looking for Shark Week.
