Weekend recap

Fri: I took the day off of work to deal with some medical stuff. More on that later.

Sat: We had a fantastic lunch/dinner with our friends who are moving away. The menu was a hit! Fonzie was not in attendance. He was in the city for a rescue group meet and greet. (He escaped twice while he was there!).

Sun: Our A/C went out. I didn't realize this until I woke up around noon. We knew this would happen soon, as our cheapass landlord only fixed the outside part of the A/C when the repairman said the inside needed to be fixed as well. After eating lunch, we went back to sleep. I slept until 5PM!

It was getting too hot for the dogs, so we asked the rescue director if we could drop the dogs off at her house. She said yes, and also said there was a woman who was interested in Fonzie, that her home visit went well, and she was ready to pick him up. So, last night Fonzie went to his forever home.

Adios, Fonzie. You were loved and you will be missed.
