How do I delete?

How do I delete a post I wrote?

Re: How do I delete?

  • It's considered very rude to delete a post after people have taken the time to respond, as your question can and will help other people reading the boards.  It generally also makes the original poster (OP) look like a spoiled brat when she deletes because she doesn't get the answers that she wanted to hear.

If you are posting something sensitive, or you are worried about your friends/family finding a particular post, it's a good idea to put a warning in your original post that you intend to delete for X reason, and to ask that posters not quote you.
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!

  • You've already DD on the M&M board.  As I explained, it's considered poor form here on the Knot.  I'm not sure why you DD the post.  You got good answers to your question which was, BTW, a fairly common question, and one that you needed answers to.

"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
