Bridal Shower Help!

My maid of honor and I are looking for a place to hold my bridal shower at. Can anyone give me some ideas? Any local halls? I'm trying to keep the price down as well ...

Preferably the west side near Parma/Royalton area and we would be providing our own food. I think we will be having between 3040 guests too.

Check out the local German clubs. They vary in size and most of them are available for rental if they don't already have something going on. They would allow you to bring in your own food too.

My mom is renting the hall at the United Methodist Church in Berea for my shower. They are only charging her $75 to clean up after, although we are friends with the lady who books the room, so I don't know if that is the rate for everyone or not.

You can also try some VFW halls they rent out and you can bring your own food as well

If any of the folks planning the shower (bridesmaids, family members, etc) live in either a condo or apartment complex, often those places have party rooms that can be rented for cheep (or sometimes free) for the residents of those places. Also, check out church halls, if anyone you know belongs to that church.

Other places you might consider, depending on time of year and such: Stearns Homestead in Parma has a cabin you can rent (seasonally) or you might check out facilities in the Cleveland Metroparks, some of which are indoor covered paviliions rather than picnic shelters.

    Good luck!
