It was amazing, for starters. I can't believe how many people were there and how generous they all were. Our new apartment is going to be tricked out. All the generosity is a little overwhelming, to be honest. I promise to post pictures when I get them (my MOH had her twin sisters come and be photographers, how cute is that??).
The sweetest thing that happened yesterday actually included my grandfather. See, my grandmother decided she was going to order us some Egyptian cotton bath towels as our shower gift. However, my grandfather decided that his only granddaughter deserved more, so he slipped, as my mother said, a "bunch" of money to her a couple weeks ago and told her to buy me something nice. My mom picked out our comforter, a set of sheets, and a throw pillow and put a card that said "From your secret admirer" so my grandmother wouldn't know what he had done. She told me the story after the shower. Too cute!
