Inexpensive Honeymoon?

Where are you going? And if you're willing to share, about how much are you spending?

We're going to Puerto Morelos Mexico for 7 days 6 nights.  A travel agent told us about H10 Ocean Coral but she said it was going to be over $3000 total.  We booked it on Expedia; airline and all inclusive resort it is less than $2200 for the both of us!!!

Hmmm, well I posted this last night but I don't know what happened....

We went to NYC for about $3000 before food and entertainment.  We stayed in a downtown hotel with a hot breakfast every morning and that was for 8  nights.

We went on a 7 day cruise, flew to Puerto Rico, and stayed over a couple extra days.  Including cruise, flights, hotel, excursions, and on the ship purchases we spent about $4400.  Food and spending money in Puerto Rico was another $350.

WE planned to go on an all-inclusive trip to Mexico (about 700pp).
But we hadn't booked it yet.

We decided last night, yes, after our wedding, that we really want to go to Japan, so we are putting some money back and began planning a trip to Japan for next year.

Since we want to get away for a couple of days in the next few weeks, we decided to take a long weekend to, wait for it, Hot Springs, AR. Corny, I know, but neither of us have been, and we like that it is so close to home we can go again and again if we ever want to "rekindle", if you catch my drift. :)
