Review of Betty's Bridal I LOVE THEM!

I went shopping in February of this year and made an appointment at Betty's Bridal in Clifton Heights with the hopes of looking at some bridesmaids dresses.  I didn't have high expectations for a wedding gown there because I thought of it as low end.

The shop is small and the first floor is very crowded with bridesmaids dresses.

Then we went upstairs. I was surrounded by beautiful gowns.  THey were all much more modern and well made than I was expecting (I admit I am a snob.)

I found THE dress and ordered it. I was wary of their size reccommendation because I've heard so many stories about getting a gown in that was huge and paying a fortune for atlerations.

My dress arrived in early June.  I went in for my first fitting and it was gorgeous.
They were very nice.  The gown fit like a glove.  Didnt even need a hem.
 I got a bustle and pressing.

Total cost for the dress with tax: $657
Bustle and press: $85

They are keeping it till the week of my wedding.

I couldn't be happier and I HIGHLY recommend them for brides that want a lot of dress on a budget.

It's not a fancy bridal salon.  No one pours you champagne, but the staff is friendly and accomodating and they have magnificant gowns at very good prices.

    Hi Dagney, I'm Stacy, a past knottie.  I'm not back on TK but I am bored this morning and lurking a bit and I have to back up your post.  I got my gown and veil there too and LOVED them.  I worked with Betty and Kashia (sp?).  They were fantastic, polite, helpful and as you said, on the nose with their fitting.  My dress was a little big but a smaller size would have been too tight.  I didn't go through them for alterations as I have a seamstress friend.  They were magnificent though and I'm glad you had a good experience as well.  Take care.

    I couldnt agree more, they were amazing! at first sight I was the same way, until we went upstairs. they were wonderful to work with!

    I also worked with Kasia, and her mom Jolanta was my seemstress, and worked wonders. I am very small chested, but ended up with huge boobs (for me lol) on my wedding day thanks to her!
