We Get It/We Don't Get It

I don't get the love of Biggest Loser. Glee I can get, but watching a bunch of people work out, sweat, and cry, regardless of who they are or what they look like doesn't sound like something I want to watch. I also don't get why it's a two hour show, or that FI watched the entire two hours and eats junk food while watching.

I don't get Homophobia either. I actually have a customer that refuses to deal with my boss on the phone or in person because he is gay. We aren't sure if it's hate or homophobia, but we are leaning toward the latter because of some comments he made prior to my employment here.

Also if a gay couple adopts a child that child most definitely will grow up to be gay.

And, gay marriages are ruining straight marriages world wide. It's an epidemic and can be proven by... science.

I thought straight marriages were doing a pretty good job ruining it themselves. ;) I've always felt it was a bit hypocritical for the anti-gay camp to suddenly clutch pearls over the sanctity of marriage, when it's clearly not being treated too well by about half of those who marry.

It's true. Neither are hoo-has though. I would THINK that it would be good if the things that are the most important to the survival of the human race were at least aesthetically pleasing. But perhaps they're made that way to ensure the human race will eventually die out. Or....welll....not.
