Invitations question

Fiance told me he was going to get a lot of stuff done during his vacation, but I didn't know that included printing up our invitations. They were "halfway done". I wanted to change some wording and put our wedding website on there. We weren't going to do STD's. So my question is...Do I send out STD's now that our invitation doesn't have them, mark it off as a loss and buy new invitations, or someone else suggested including an "informational insert" with the invitations that would have our wedding website on there along with information about other things such as kids, plus 1's, etc...

    The only thing that should be on your invitation is the information about the ceremony itself and, if you can do it in on line, the reception info (ie, dessert reception immediately following).  The rest of the information needs to go on another card and be included with the invitation.  This could be wedding website, hotel/travel information, etc.

    Perfect! Thanks Dramageek, I wasn't too sure if the info was supposed to go on the invite itself in the first place- but i knew you'd ladies know. Cleared EVERYTHING up!
