It overwhelms me sometimes. Swingsets were on sale this weekend so FIL asked if we wanted one. We were waffling not because of price, but in case we were moving. FIL bought the upgraded one of what we were looking at and is calling it 6let's early bday present. No 2yo needs a pricey gift from his grandparents. I know come September they will have another present for the kid.
I also know these are gifts given out of complete love for our kid. That's what makes it even more special.
