1. What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette? Same Reds game as FI's bachelor party in different parts of the park + (as I've been informed) a lingerie "shower" and sleepover.

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? I hope they make the special shirts they've mentioned before but I'll live if they don't.

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? Anything penis-related that I have to wear in public that day.

I'm helping plan my best friend's. And we don't know what to do. We're going to do the cheesy stuff. But, we're just trying to think a little outside of the box and coming up with nothing.

What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette? I'm pretty sure we'll be going out for dinner and then out dancing.

What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? I hope the dancing will be salsa, I LOVE salsa but FI is a very shy dancer and won't often go.

What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? Strippers.

Mandy, since you're looking for different ideas, do you have any dueling piano bars in your area? We did that for one last year and it was a blast.

1. Went to Chicago. Dinner on Friday night. An architectural cruise of Chicago Saturday afternoon. Howl at the Moon (piano bar) and a drag show Saturday night.

2. My favorite part was being with my friends and all of us enjoying the cruise.

3. The drag show wasn't as entertaining as I thought it would be (plus I was really intoxicated and obnoxious by that point). We just went to Vegas for my friend's BP and went to a strip club. That was NOT my favorite part of the weekend. We just giggled in the corner for a while.

BMs and I went out to eat, had a couple drinks, and then they spent the night at my house.

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you?
Hanging out with them. All but one live at least 2 hrs away. Also, I hoped for nifty underthings that I might not buy for myself, and I got a corset. It's awesome.

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out?
I was glad they left out outward signs of the party (tiaras, fake veil, matching shirts). I'm not a big fan of attention.

For another bachelorette party from last year, we spent a lot of time in some hotel rooms and then they dressed up in 80's clothes and went out to Boogie Nights.

We had a list of pictures to get by the end of the night and whichever team got the most, won. We played "pin the penis on the stud" or whatever it was actually called too.

we were supposed to go apple picking in the day and out to dinner, that way my flower girls (nieces) could be involved. Well one couldn't make it, the other had a soccer game and they scratched the apple picking (i was bummed because I have never been apple picking before).

I sort of stressed that my girls really didn't have to do anything (one was a college student out of state, the other is a sahm with two children with disabilities)....My mom put together a shower, with some help from them....and my MOH picked the restaurant we went to for my bach dinner.

i was grateful there was no penii things.

1. What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette? My BMS planned a nice dinner at PF Changs after we went to Kings, which is a bowling/bar place that was SO much fun! Lots of fun drinks, food, and the bowling was super fun!

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you?
Fav. part was the bowling, we were all terrible, but had a blast anyway. My BMs also got me a fun "bride to be" sash, flashing "bride" button and some beaded necklaces that I wore all night. They also made cupcakes with pen!s' on them, that we ate when we got back to MOH's house...I liked that part because it was the only pen!s part and it wasn't out in public!

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out?
I wish they had gotten a hotel room, also the bowling was only for 2 hours (which was enough time) but we didn't have anything really to do after midnight...not that I wanted to be out all night, but I just didn't expect it to be over so fast! Luckily I slept at my MOH's house with my other MOH and a friend of ours, we drank some more, ate more food, and didn't go to bed until 3!

My MOHs planned a My Fair Lady-esque theme, so everyone was dolled up in dresses and big hats. I had my b-party the night after my bridal shower b/c my one MOH had to fly in, so we crammed it all together. Because of that most of the girls came back to my mom's after the shower and got crafty pinning/glueing ribbons and fake flowers to their hats. Then we went for dinner at a local Mexican place (which wasn't officially part of the b-party, but almost everyone was there)

My girls reserved a private back room at a bar in my hometown to start the party. They had cupcakes with penis sprinkles arranged to look like a penis - but that was as penis focused as we got. They had apps ordered and then we played a game where each of the girls bought me a pair of underwear and I had to guess who each was from, it was pretty entertaining and the drinks were flowing so by the end we were cracking up hysterically.

We then played a few rounds of never have I ever, which was good and I think helped to loosen some of the girls up b/c it was a combination of my HS friends and my sorority sisters, so they didn't all know each other. After that we ditched the hats and gifts into someone's car (at least, they all ditched theirs b/c they make it difficult when you're in a crowded space - they made me keep mine on) and headed to another bar with karaoke.

At this second (and final) bar I was presented with a list of challenges. Things like "get a guy to buy you a shot" "get a guy to write his phone number on your body" "Karaoke 'I'm too Sexy'" It was all kept very PG, or at most PG-13. They found a good line of pushing my comfort zone without going overboard. I successfully checked off every item on the list - which was pretty impressive considering the last item was "get a guy to give you his underwear".

I had a blast, and yeah it was pretty cheesy, but it was certainly memorable.

my least favorite part was afterward, when one of my friends was drunkenly sobbing in my parents kitchen about how she's a huge disappointment to her parents. Good times, y'all.

Nothing in particular. Just a good time!

Anything that references my sexual past. FMIL would not appreciate that so much.

I didn't have a bachelorette, don't really have any female friends. Not in my immediate area, anyway. My SIL and MIL offered to take me out, but they came in a couple days before the wedding and we already had plans.

If I did have one, I would have wanted it to be low-key. Maybe dinner out, then a movie-fest at home. No crazy drinking or big night out. I would have been severely pissed if strippers or penis gag gifts were involved.

We play games like that. Ours was a kiss the stud and it was lips (much more PG).

Also, to use up our alcohol in the rooms (and be cheap) we played Kings Cup (card game) for an hour or two in the hotel room.

For mine and my friend's we also gave the bride lingerie. Now, I really like having a nice assortment.

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? I loved that it was a trip, I wish one BM's H and his friends hadn't come along and we could have all had a girls night in the hotel room and just been stupid girls and gossipped and what not. But it was good that we had the guys to look out for us.

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? I got too drunk. I had to go home early =(

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? I hope that my friends have snacks/drinks at the house with plenty of penis paraphenalia and silly games. I would also love to go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Atlanta - I've heard that's a really good time.

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? The stripper. My mom really wants to hire one. I really really hope she doesn't. I also don't really want to go bar hopping - I am a shy person so I would rather stay home : p

If you want cheesy, for my sister's bach party we had a sex toy demonstration. It was completely free to host it, they just want people to buy stuff. We had a couple girls buy some things, actually more than I expected because I thought no one would buy anything! And the bride-to-be gets a little goody bag. It was fun for some laughs. We drank wine and passed around the toys. She did NOT want strippers at all.

1) We are going to Atlantic City for mine, and I can't wait! Planning to hit up a karaoke bar one night and then a club the other (we're going Friday-Sunday)
2) I really hope they make the t-shirts, we made custom shirts for my sister's and we all wore them around the hotel during the day (also went to Atlantic City for hers). And I hope all of my bridesmaids are able to attend.. I am feeling nervous about two bridesmaids with children who may say they cannot go away for the weekend, but I don't see why not.
3) There is nothing off limits for me. I don't mind wearing the penis things. My sister (MOH) hates strippers so we will probably not even have one, but I wouldn't care either way. We do have a male strip club, which I would go to over having a private stripper. The private show is way more creepy. I'd rather watch them on stage!

I know a girl who's bridesmaids ordered her a midget stripper... that was interesting. I think it would be hilarious if my BMs got an old man stripper, or (like we have randomly joked about) a Pirate stripper.... Arrrrre you ready to see some penis?

1. What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette?
We are going up to Hampton Beach, NH, for an evening of food and drinks and fun, followed by time on the beach the next morning to soak up some rays and get over our hangovers.

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you?
At this point I'm just excited about having all my very favorite people with me. It so rarely happens since my college friends are spread around, and not everyone locally can make it out on the same night. My sis/MOH texted me a pic of a penis something, so I'm sure that's in the works. I don't mind penis things at all, and will be game to drink out of a penis straw all night if that is what I am asked to do!

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out?
Shots/drinking contests. I have a low tolerance and don't want to get blackout wasteface.

Mine's far from being planned but it will probably be a joint birthday/bachelorette party since the wedding is 3 weeks after my birthday! FI will probably also do something like that, his birthday is 4 days before the wedding :-)

1. What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette? As I said, not planned. If I were to offer any suggestions or plan it myself (obviously not going to), I'd probably do a wine tasting, maybe do manis/pedis, then go out downtown. Maybe my MOH will have better ideas but we've talked and I'm pretty sure going downtown will be part of it!

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? Nothing in particular really but I'd love to do a wine tasting. I've done it for a couple friends birthdays and it was so fun!

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? Strippers and anything overly sexual (wearing penises all over me, doing stupid things at the bars, etc). It's just not fun to me. I'd maybe be ok with a Passions or Pure Romance party or something but I've been to sooo many of them, lol. I'd rather have something somewhat low key but still fun, nothing TOO crazy!

1. What did you do/are you doing for your bachelorette? My BM's and I met at MOH's house for appetizers/wine, then we met additional girlfriends for dinner/wine, then went to a wine bar, then a martini bar, then things got fuzzy but we ended up across the street from SIL's apartment and then H (FI at the time - duh) picked me up and took me home.

2. What was your favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will plan for you? It was perfect. I really wanted a nice night out with my girls. We're all in our 30's and I'm not a penis game kind of girl, so the low key thing was awesome. I did have a sash that said Bride on it. That was the only nod to it being a Bachelorette party. And my BM's all gave me lingerie before we went out.

3. What was your least favourite part/what do you HOPE your BMs will leave out? It was great that they respected my wishes about not decking me out in penises (penii??). It's just not my style. The food was delicious, the company was great, the drinks were great. My kind of night out.
