Bakery in Newport

Good Morning Ladies! 

I'm about 7 months out from my wedding and I'm realizing I haven't booked/planned anything except my photographer. Afterall - the pictures are the second most important thing to me =)

With that said, we are getting married in Newport and need some recommendations for bakeries in the area for a cake.

    We are getting married in three weeks. After looking around for a bakery we settled on scrumptions in East Greenwich. There is a delivery fee, but they had the cake flavor we wanted. We have used Mad Hatter before and their stuff is greatthey just didn't have spice cake as part of their normal cake flavors and that is what we wanted.

    Great thank you so much! I read a lot of reviews about Mad Hatter Bakery. I'll give them a shot.

    We got married last year in Newport and used It's My Party, located in Newport. No delivery fee if local and paid I think $3.75/person for a three tiered cake. She did an amazing job and it was SO yummy!

    They just have a new name:  Newport Sweet Shoppe.  They did a fabulous job on the Groom's cake for my daughter's wedding last year.  It was very creative, delicious and reasonably priced!
