Bella Lago at Forest Creek

Does anyone have any reviews of the Bella Lago at Forest Creek in Round Rock, previously named Forest Creek Country Club.

Are they offering a good deal? I have a friend still looking for a venue. I was at a wedding there in high school... almost 10 years ago. That won't help you much - but the food was not good at the time. I am sure that has changed. It is sure pretty out there.

Thank you for your reply. I went to the open house this past week and the chicken dish was tasty. I wasn't crazy about the other samplings. This place seems to be open with bringing in outside food (catering), which I am considering since my parents insists on bringing in a luau.  The one thing that drew me to Bella Lago is that the venue can accommodate a large party. There's an option to either dine inside or outside. It's also easy to get to without having to worry about parking. Tell your friend it's worth checking them out. The grounds are gorgeous!

For a Sunday all-inclusive wedding, it will be apprx $6,800 for 100 guests. Sundays are less costly. The price varies depending on your selections on food. Their website is http://www.bellalagoevents.com/. It's worth checking out! Good luck!

I have been to 2 weddings at Bella Lago (formerly Forest Creek) this year.    I really thought the food was great and they seemed to go to alot of trouble to display it.   I went to the open house and loved the food.    Anyway, at the really big wedding I attended this year,  the chef even had a bananas flambe' dessert station.   I am probably booking there for next jan. , but still trying to decide a date because I love their outside options.

One thing made me feel good- some photographers and florists have said some really nice things about them.

I just went to Bella Lago at Forest Creek’s Open House last night and booked my wedding right on the spot.  It was amazing!!!  These forums have been so helpful to me that I thought I would suggest this beautiful venue.  They have 3 different areas outside to have your ceremony and an elegant ballroom.  Also one of the areas is a permanent tent so I don’t have to stress anymore about coming up with a back up plan. We are able to use there entire venue so I am planning on an outdoor ceremony, indoor dinner and outdoors under the ten for dancing.  Also my band can just set up outside and we have the option of using their sound system inside for dinner so I don’t have to pay extra for a separate dj.  They were booked on my day but my fiancé and I decided to change ours because we loved the venue so much.  I highly recommend you call for a tour.  Here is the website www.austinevents.com/">www.AustinEvents.com

I hope this can help someone and they can be as happy as I am.

Hi there! I was wondering how your event at Bella Lago went. Where you pleased? What were your likes and dislikes? How was the food?  Can I ask how you set it up and how many people did you have?  I'm trying to come up with the layout.  Any helpful would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance! Diana
