Strange. Maybe the apple has something to do with the Garden of Eden and she's thinking about her sinfulness. I think her first sin was wearing those godawful gloves/arm warmers.

I think the ring is used for mind control. Look at the vacant expression on her face and the creepy eyes. There is nothing going on up there. He's eyeing the ring like that because it holds so much power. Also that's why he's so much bigger and above her--God-like powers of control. The offering of the apple is to show her forced servitude due to the mind-controlling powers of the ring. She's basically a slave. I think the ugly glove things are supposed to symbolically represent the shackles by which she is bound.

Weird wedding pictures pop up all over the internet. This one is from www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com, but many are from www.tackyweddings.com. Sometimes I just come across them when I'm looking up wedding trends or ideas.
