Hello Hawaii Knotties! It seems like this board has been soooooo quiet for awhile. How is everyone?
I wanted to give a shout out to an etsy vendor I'm working with on my hair accessories. I fell in love with this veil from Jennifer Behr. Not in love with the $675 price tag.
So, I found the seller DKDesigns Hawaii (
http://www.etsy.com/shop/dkdesignshawaii) who makes beautiful clay flowers. I sent her the Jennifer Behr pic and my invite pdf. I wanted something similar to the inspiration picture but more like the hibiscus on my invites. They're finished, and she sent me this picture:
I love how they look. I'm planning on wearing them with a birdcage veil. Not sure if I'll be able to pull off the super big flowers but we'll see when they get here. If anyone is looking for a custom flower, she does amazing work. She does entire weddings--bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres. All from clay. Crazy. Her website is
