  I looked at their stuff and it looks very prtty. But it was out of our price range, so we didn't look much further into them.

  We talked to them and found them very unhelpful and rude.  We are still having our RD there because we're doing a boat cruise on the Escapade and have found Star (catering manager) very helpful.  I think she is new as the catering manager since last summer when we asked about doing our wedding in the Dartford Ballroom.  Kathy, the person you work with for hotel reservations was not helpful at all.  Heidel House requires that you book a certain number of rooms if you have your wedding there.  If they aren't booked by your guests, you are responsible for paying for those rooms.  We thought that was ridiculous since they were telling us we had to book 20 rooms.  They also had the attitude that if we didn't book there someone else would, so they didn't really need our busines.  Finally, they claim that they can fit 300 people in the Dartford Ballroom.  We're expecting less than 200 and think that it would be comfortable but full.  Maybe they were just having an off day when we went (the catering manager at the time was over 30 min late for a meeting we booked weeks in advance and drove 90 minutes to get to) but we didn't have a great experience with anyone but Star.
