Inexpensive but artsy/romantic photogs?

Hi ladies,I'm a Cincy/NKY native and my best friend is getting married in L-ville on Aug. 14th, 2010. She is looking for an inexpensive but artsy/romantic photographer. Do you know of any up-and-coming photogs that might fit the bill? She likes my pictures but my photog was about $3800, and she would also have to pay a travel fee. I don't know her specific budget, but I would say probably around $1500, give or take.TIA ladies! Here is my email if you want to send anything: frenchteacher08 at yahoo dot com.

It really depends on what she wants for that $1500.  How many hours of coverage, prints, albums, CD with copyright release, etc.  There are a lot of photographers in the Louisville area that would likely take pictures she would love and that have a package in her price range, but the package might not include everything.  Do you know what is important to her in the package?

I know she'd want a lot of coverage and a DVD of images. She doesn't really care about an album.

Well, I love my photog, and I think he has a package in the right price point.  I negotiated with him to adjust the package we got so as to include what was important to us.  http://www.bellagracestudios.comI also really loved Red Tree Photography when I was looking for photographers.  He's a bit more expensive, but I think he will negotiate as well.  http://www.redtreephotography.comTwo others that I have zero experience with, but I love their online portfolios, and I think they're in the right price range as well:http://www.kriechphoto.comhttp://www.jessicafeyphotography.comIf I come across others, I'll post more.

Thanks! I actually started to look through while I was waiting for replies and bookmarked all four you mentioned for her, but knowing her like I do, I think she will LOVE Jessica Fey!

Look at BillyGrubbsStudio.com.. I used him for my senior pictures & they turned out great! We've also used him for some other jobs as well. He is very talented and inexpensive!

My package was slightly higher than $1500, but I highly recommend Photography by Sara and Monarch Photography respectively...Both studios are locally owned by quite charming folks.  I think photography is something you should seriously research and find the photog that best suits your need..both professionally and personality....

I'm not so sure about her prices, but Jami Guess does amazing work. I've seen her at a few bridal shows and fell in love with many of her photos.

    Thanks!
