  I admit I'm not a fan of April Fools.  Maybe I don't like being fooled.  I had an ex play an April Fools joke on me and I wanted to break up with him on the spot (it was a mean one).

  One of my first graders did a cute and creative April Fools Joke today, they have Daily News folders where their parents send back notes, homework, etc.  In his folder he had a card that said "Happy April Fools Day!" and then the card was glued shut when I went to open it...hahaha! He got me

  My 4th grade students had a math test today. We did the review yesterday to make sure they were prepared. I always go over the test instructions right before I hand them out. Well I went over instructions for a 10 page 100 question test. lol One of my kids was like, "Miss __________ our tests are usually only 3 pages!"
  My response was "Well I guess you guys should have behaved yesterday!" You should have seen their faces. Then I yelled April fools and gave them their 2 page test. lol
