Relief.  I has it.

This Mica was responsible for the KatEyes troll and probably TaniaMarie as well. Not you.

  • Does anyone have a link to the KatEyes ish?  I've heard it referenced, but didn't see it.  I'm going to lunch now and could use something to read while I sit in my car and judge my co-workers.  Thanks :)
  • Blaque got out one night when we went to dinner. When we drove back up maybe two hours later, I could see him from up the street (his reflective eyes). I made my H stop the car and I ran up to the house, and he let me pick him up (he'd been standing RIGHT by the road in front of our house) . After we got inside, I bawled for two hours. And I swear that he hasn't been the same since. And I'm not blaming my H or anything, but  I know I didn't accidentally let him out...

Ok, this I can see. Yesterday if you wanted to call someone a douche, you had to say it and stand by your statement. Making it a poll makes it easier to just take a dig at someone.

Also different people. Tania came on and lost her sh*t for some reason and started in with a bunch of personal attacks, then when banned came back with like 5 other screennames to do the same.

Exactly.  If it was all AE's or trolls or whatever, that would be no big deal.  I know they don't like Kiki but I think putting her as an option for biggest dbag in an open poll is a d*ck move.

We don't have a fence and FI lets Oz off his leash a lot. It makes me a nervous wreck. He's part Beagle and I'm afraid one day he's just going to take off and get hit. ::shudders::

Salt that's terrible. If someone lost my pet I probably wouldn't speak to them again.

On the dbag issue, I agree with whoever said in the E poll you had to state a name and stand by it. Just throwing a list of names (gathered from a previous poll) up there for people to pick and choose from is awful.

My kitty was an outdoor cat (vast amounts of land out here in the middle of nowhere) and whenever I'd pull in I'd see him run up to the door. I miss my kitty.

  • salt, I am not ashamed to admit I would have done something unfriendly to those people. Nothing deadly, but maybe misplace something valuable of theirs. See how they like it.

The Oskie look alike in my house sits outside my bedroom door when he knows it's time for me to get up. If I don't get up on time (according to him) he will yowl pathetically and scratch at the door. He can do this for hours. When I do get up and open the bedroom door, he immediately admonishes me and then follows me to the kitchen, where he continues to admonish me while simultaneously rubbing on my legs. If, on the walk downstairs, he gets caught up in my legs he yells at me REALLY loudly... even though I started walking down the stairs before him.  I sit at the table and drink my coffee while he sits on my lap, then he walks me to the door and sees me off to start my day. It's the same thing, every morning. I love that cat so much.
In Response to Re: FFT? : Yeah, I agree with this.  And honestly, at that age, sure they KNOW they COULD get in trouble, but are they really thinking about that while they're messing around?  Absolutely not.  I don't think someone should have to register as a sex offender for 15 freaking years for having sex with someone two years younger than them because they are 18.  Stupid.  That's life ruining right there.
    Posted by Snippylynn
I do believe laws are changing and that in most areas, there's a 2 year leeway. So like an 18 year old and a 16 year old can get it on, and a 19 year old and a 17 year old. Obviously, with the 2 year thing, this would only apply to people 16 and up (which is the age of consent in some states and i the UK anyway). However, a 25 year old sleeping with a 17 year old would still be considered statuatory rape, as it should be, because that kind of relationship is likely to be coercive, even if not overtly.
