RSVP envelopes

I've been going around and around with my mother and MOH, do I self address and stamp my RSVP return envelopes or not? In my logical "you're my friends and family, you love me and can figure out how to write my address and use 1 lousy stamp" mind I really don't want to have the extra work and spend the extra money for stamps. However MOH said she probably wouldn't have had anyone mail rsvps if they werent labeled and stamped. I just need to figure out a solution quick because I should have sent my invites out already

You can order stamps on Etsy with your name address on them (that's what we did). Ours were more casual, and they turned out adorable.

I agree with everyone else. Far fewer people will send it back if you don't include a stamp and then you'll have to call them all anyway, so this is really to your benefit.

And of course you need to address it -- many people will throw away the outer envelope as soon as they open the invitation but not RSVP right away. You'll have a lot of problems if you don't preaddress these. I second cwaggoner's idea of buying a stamp -- that's what we did.

I suggest you print address labels yourself on your computer. it's easy to stick them on the envelopes and won't take much time. as for stamps: maybe your local post office will do the actual applying of stapms if you pay for them in advance.

Yes, and I agree - definitely provide stamps on the envelopes. It shows that you really want them not just to reply, but to be at your wedding. If I got an RSVP envelope without a stamp, I would have a bad taste about the wedding from the moment I got the invitation; yes, it's the bride / groom's day, but the guests should feel welcomed and comfortable.
