AATB- I don't see an option on what scent to get. They all look like the Almond. My hair is fine and oily already. I guess I'll have to call them

  • I use a general olay moisturizer as it is, but I feel like I should just do more lol. I want to find something for adam to use too, but the guy market confuses me even worse. Do any of your husbands have face stuff?
  • It also looks like you can get the different scents of Wen on Amazon too if you want to just buy a bottle without commiting to having it sent to you regularly yet.

Ben uses Olay eye cream because he gets dark circles under his eyes, and it really works.  He doesn't really do much else for wrinkles or aging, though.  He bought "man lotion" once.

  • My mom got me a mani/pedi for my bday and I upgraded it and I'm so pumped for tomorrow. I feet and hands are just so gross. I got all sorts of stuff to do it myself but I havnt used it yet.
  • I love this thread.

I'm going through a self loathing phase and I just need something new to freshen me up.
Meaningful beauty was the only infomercial I ever watched the full way through. (And it's a long-ass infomercial.) I had forgotten all about it until now, and I just ordered some. I'm so excited! I went all out and got the 90 day kit. I heard it's amazing and I'm thrilled that people on TK love it, too! Yeehaw.

  • Also, can someone explain something to me?

I've never had my makeup done before. I'm supposed to for the wedding. Do people usually bring their own makeup for the artist to use? Like what about foundation and stuff?

Usually the MUA has their own. You should do a trial with them first where you can discuss such things, as well as any preferences and sensitivities.

Be careful with that. I've heard of people selling fakes of high end beauty products (like Bumble & Bumble or Moroccan Oil) on sites like that. I have no idea how they get away with it, I thought Amazon was reputable, but yeah.

Definitely a good idea. I went to a friend's make-up trial for grad and she brought some of her own make-up, which I was curious about because I didn't know if that was required. Anyway, she asked for a natural but elegant look. I looked up and her eyes were painted this bright seafoam green. She looked like Ursula from the little mermaid.
    Trials are goooood.

Like, the kind where their skin is dry as fuuck and they don't want to use any for reasons unknown? If so, Seanzoid has moisturizing issues, too.

lol something like that. He gets mad that he has to use moisturizer "again" when he just used some yesterday. I dont think he really gets it. He has said if I get him some man products he will use them though.
  • AATB- I had to think of you over Christmas because my DH's daughter gave me the Cindy Crawford restoring masque and neck and chest lotion. She had to cut Cindy out of her life (financially the baby comes first). So she had these left and gave them to me. She decided I would either like it or be offended :)

I actually thought of looking into the whole line now.

    Kiehl's makes fantastic men's products.

Also if anyone is looking for a foundation - I love, love, love Revlon Photo Ready - it makes your skin look flawless. I also use primer on my face for that too, but I can't think of the name of it.

Yeah, that's him in a nutshell. I'll tell him to put more on because his skin is dry and then he tells me that moisturizer is crap and must not work since he already put it on 2 days ago.
