Well my FI and I got creative tonight and made our guest book and card box. At first, I was going to put a starfish on the guest book, but after some thought, it would probably get crushed when guests write on pages, etc. So I used a little bead trinket, which was on the favors from my bridal shower.
The wedding card box only cost $5, with the most expensive thing being a starfish, which I got from the Ft. Lauderdale airport when I was flying back up to MD last month. An aunt is going to make a sign, using the picture from our wedding invites, letting guests know that it is a wedding card box. I put it in a plastic tub, so it's safe and secured when we travel down to Florida next week!!
It's been a successful night and we even started to pack things up for the 3 week long trip!!
