Macy's Sip and Scan Registry Event

I'm thinking of RSVPing for the sip and scan event next month at Macy's. Has anyone ever done this? I'm wondering if it gets too crowded?

    We did one at Crate and Barrel and it wasn't too crowded at all - and that's a much smaller store than macy's - so I think it will be fine!  It was a lot of fun - definitely one of my favorite things we did while wedding planning!

    How do you all find out about these events? I'm definitely starting to fit the role of slacker bride, but I'm hoping I'm going to sign on a venue tomorrow and then all of that is going to change. Any advice on how to get signed up for these events would be appreciated- thanks!
