Wedding Invitations & Paper

Cheapest websites...

Hi

What was the cheapest website you found for your wedding invitations? I need to order about 200 or more of them so I need a really good deal. I wanted a more modern looking invitation. I am dying to do the scroll invitation but not sure what the cheapest place would be? TIA!!

Re: Cheapest websites...

  • Oh wow, 200 invites! Short of printing them yourself, which would be a ton of ink, Etsy has lots of invites. I'm not really sure what you mean by a scroll invitation. Do you mean an invitation that's rolled up like a scroll? How in the world would you mail that?

  • I like www.weddingpaperdivas.com and I think they are pretty affordable.  They have lots of modern designs.

I am planning to get ours from shop.getmarried.com.  Also pretty inexpensive.

    Good luck!
  • Cheapest would be something like Vistaprint or DIY, I think.  But, I need more details on this "scroll" concept.

  • this is what I mean by scroll http://indianweddingcard.com/Scroll-Invitations.html.

Yea DIY is not an option lol . thanks for the suggestions!
  • I don't think there's a remote possibility of finding those inexpensively except MAYBE an alchemy request on Etsy.  But, for 200 invites, I would expect to spend AT LEAST $2000 to do something like that, maybe more.  Postage alone would be really pricey.

  • That actually looks REALLY cheap for what they are! I would go with the site you posted.

You'd be amazed what can be mailed. The Mythbusters mailed a coconut (just slapped the address on a sticker on the side) in an episode once  and it arrived just fine.
