Ceremony music (or lack thereof)

My fiance and I are seriously considering having an outdoor wedding downtown at millennium park in front of that beautiful fountain in wrigley square. Would it be bad if we had no music?

I don't think it'd be bad. You could always hire a solo violinist or guitarist or something if you want some music -- this would be easily portable and not really require speakers.

Aw, we considered that spot also!!!

I think it'd be okay...althought w/traffic, etc, it may be more ideal to have some?  Although at the same time, it may not be heard well.

Will you have any kind of sound system for the officiant to be heard?

i don't know lol. I figured we could probably get by w/o music with traffic and that peaceful sound that the water from the fountain makes. how much is it for a violinist anyway lol? We are trying to have a wedding on a budget Laughing
