Anyone?

My day has been uneventful. I bought new nailpolish last night (it's a dark purple) but it's a little too dark for me, so I might buy another one tonight to try under the new Shatter polish I got last night. I'm hoping it's awesome.

I'm kind of on this purple kick right now, which is hilarious, because I don't usually like purple. Haha.

Hello! I am in and out. Shatter=amazing. You kind of have to put it on thick though. If it's too thin of layer it just kind of streaks and doesn't break up as much.

I'm here, for a bit. I'm at my mom's, we're just hanging out watchingg TV. I sold a bunch of books today and talked to a lot of teachers, so hopefully some of them will want to get my book in their classrooms. And I worked out a possible future deal with Books-a-Million, so that's exciting. Overall, a pretty great day.

Oh, and I got a new red and white bikini. It's pretty.

Sup. I'm housewife-ing it up today. Cleaning, cooking, etc. I accidently kicked the heavy ass monitor Brandon left on the floor so my second smallest toe on my right foot hurts like a bitch. That's inspired me to clean up the living room. Other than that, just downloading some books, doing some reading. The usual.

Thanks, CCF. Of everyone I talked to, my favorite was this kid around 13 or so. He asked a doxen questions about writing and publishing, then told me about his wrting (he liked to write fiction). He was super quiet and shy but loved to talk about writing.

Then we went to get his dad, who was a total overbearing type, and asked if he could buy a copy. His dad nought it, and I swear the kid must have thanked him like 20 times from the time I was signing it to the time they walked out the door. THose are my favorite to talk to, kids who just love reading and writing.

Nada. We are just laying around doing nothing. We went to Panera for lunch and then got ice cream. I tried to find some mother's day gifts, but didn't have much luck.

We have to go to the redneckyest thing in our city tonight, so that should be interesting.

Panera is my favorite.

We have to go to a car race at a track that's the oldest one in the country (which doesn't mean it's cool, it just means it's real rednecky). There was even a reality show about it on the History channel last year. It's a work thing, but we are taking Ben because we know he'll love it.

Tomorrow, FI and I are going to my cousin's college graduation party. I'm super jazzed that my aunt invited him to come along. It should be lots of fun!

I love football, but there is no way I could watch 3 days of the draft. I feel your pain. I couldn't even tell you who the Vikes have picked up, but I get the vibe from FB that it hasn't been anyone good.

CCF- I'm sorry you still haven't been able to find out one way or another. They should just call you already!

ETA- I like the Saturday one, CM. It makes me think of the Monopoly man.
