Good morning all!

So excited because today is basically my Friday...heading to the beach for a much needed bachelorette weekend with my girls! Myrtle Beach here we come!

Apparently FFIL thought I was off today...I guess I really didn't have to come in...oh well.  =)

    Yup. . school for me too. I think I may head in an hour early to make sure I can get into the parking deck since I don't have my pass yet *ugh*

    I'm also thinking about dropping one of the classes I have today because it's not really all that interesting to me and I'd rather not be 'fighting' a class the whole way through. I'll just suck it up and take a summer course to make up for the lost 3 credits.


    Also. . Gir kitty has gone psycho, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed our house is still standing by the time I get home.

    Update from yesterday : We have NEIGHBORS!! -haven't met them yet though-
    Chopped off 12 inches of my hair last night. . LOVE IT! I'll AW it later :o)

    Morning! Malea I hope you have a great beach bachelorette! :)  It's my Friday too- heading to Charlotte tonight and then Charleston tomorrow! Of course, that is providing I can get all this work done between now and 5pm... I feel a bit like Cinderella...

    Beka I bet your hair looks great! And shorter hair is so much more comfortable in this heat. Did you donate it?

    Morning!  Boss is out of office agan for the rest of the week (he is volunteering at the Wyndham Golf Tournament) so these two days shouldn't be too bad!

    I think I am going to screw around online and try to find some clothes for our HM in Italy.  I'm trying to find stuff I can wear in layers since the weather can be hot or cool that time of year.  Also need a large purse I can wear cross body.  Good (inexpensive) shopping recs?

    Good morning/afternoon! I woke up at 2:30 this morning & couldn't go back to sleep. I got a job offer yesterday (I'll be posting details on my blog soon) so I figured out how long it would take for us to pay off our college debt with my added income (down to the month) & how much we could afford to add to our vacation fund. DH was impressed. haha. I finally went back to bed at 4:30 so I was exhausted when DH got up for work. I took a little nap around 8 & I feel much better now. 

    We got our new phones yesterday! I'm so glad to be rid of my old one :-) DH is really excited because today is one of his co-worker's last day. He's not so fond of her so I'm making him brownies to celebrate :-) Haha. 

    I have a big juicy london broil that I'll be making for dinner. Does anybody have any great recipes?

    Morning all.  I had a meeting at work this morning that went surprisingly well, and ended an hour earlier than was scheduled.  That was nice.

    I woke up thinking it was Friday.  That was not nice.

    Just had my second meeting with Olga. I love how she is securing the top of my dress. I don't want to worry about the dress adjusting and slipping lower. She also took a lot of time to plan the bustle. I'm excited for my next fitting to see the finished product. I also brought her my dress for the rehearsal dinner. It needs some adjusting on the top. I had to wear a lot of double-sided tape at my cousin's wedding. Olga is giong to put in cups and take in the sides. Unfortunately, I don't think it is going to be an easy project for her.

    My next stop for the morning was Fresh Market in Chapel Hill. Today was the deadline for placing my centerpiece flowers order. (These are flowers I am buying in a large quantity. My family is helping me put them in the mason jars.)  Well, the florist is no longer with the store and the manager couldn't find the notes from my previous meeting with Karen. Luckily, I wrote a few things down. Now, I can either go back on Friday and discuss with the assistant manager (who is assuming some of the florist duties), or I can switch to the Fresh Market in Cary. Not sure what to do.

    What would you do?  The FM florist really understood my vision. She got very excited as she helped me pick out the perfect flowers. I just have a feeling I won't get the same sort of response from the assistant manager.

    London Broil -- we usually marinade this in soy sauce, worcestershire, and vinegar, with some garlic powder and minced garlic.  It comes out very yummy and is super easy.
