Happy Friday

Morning ladies! We made it through another week! What's up for the weekend?

Tonight will be pretty low-key. I'm going to work out, make dinner, shower, and relax.

Tomorrow FI and I are going to lunch with my aunt. Then we're meeting FI's friend and his wife for dinner/drinks and going to the Devils game.

Sunday my BFF is celebrating her birthday in the city so FI and I will be going to that and hopefully will not drink TOO much seeing as it is a Sunday.

Re: Happy Friday

  • I'm so glad it's Friday, it kind of snuck up on me since Monday I was at a training meeting all day. I'm not complaining though haha.

I love it when weekends are low-key, it makes it go by slower and you actually get to unwind.

Tonight starts the moving process of my FI into his new home and my future home (yay!). We will probably just move a few things over tonight and then go home and have happy hour. Tomorrow morning he has an early tennis match and then the rest of the day is moving. Hopefully we will have the majority of it done tomorrow.

Sunday is a little busy for me. I have church in the morning and then I'm meeting with a potential florist that my venue coordinator recommended to me. Then I'm going back to church to volunteer for their evening service. So, I'm pretty thankful this weekend won't be as busy as the last one.
  • Morning!

Tonight I'm meeting with my co-leader for GS, and then hitting up Target for a cute outfit for tomorrow.

Tomorrow we have a 6.2 mile run, and then I'm going to a Kate Nash concert at night.

Sunday I'm not sure what's going on.  I'll probably have some work to do, and I'll probably get some late sleeping in.  I also will be at M's for about an hour for a quick ab workout.

  • So glad it's Friday!  This week was dragging!

Tonight BF and I are just going to relax, I may buy myself a bottle of wine and drink it all.

Saturday: Laundry, cleaning the house and Quigley has a play date with my friend's Boston Terrier and we may do lunch.  Tom and I are going out to dinner

    Sunday: grocery shopping

    So exciting....

  • Tonight, I plan on drinking another bottle of wine.
Tomorrow is Saturday. That means barn all day. Bean's super excited to try out his new saddle.
Sunday, I'm heading into the office for a few hours to do some work that is damn near impossible to do during the regular work day. Too many interuptions. Other than that, probably weekly grocery shopping and cleaning the house.

It's actually going to be a fairly quiet weekend. That's a rare creature in our world.

  • I don't know why I decide to come into work today, such a bad idea.  I'm exhausted!!! I also have a major case of post vacation blues.

Tonight we have nothing planned, just some cleaning, unpacking and perhaps some grocery shopping.  Tomorrow afternoon BF's cousin is in this weekend from OH so we're going to try to do lunch with her and his grandma.  Saturday night we have a pot luck party to go to at our friends' new home.  Sunday will hopefully be a rest day and The Walking Dead of course.

Work distractions are completely acceptable today. Is it wrong to go out and buy a bridal magazine now simply because I can??? :-)

  • Good morning ladies!

Tonight, I'm going to give DH his anniversary present. I got five of his posters framed. He's been talking about doing it for years and I'm so excited about how they turned out. I'm going to run home after work, finish putting them together and hang them in our back hallway. Here's a sneak peek:

Tomorrow, I'm going to order our new stainless steel appliances and then DH and I are heading to a casino in WV for the night. We're excited to watch some bball games and it's also a horse track so we can do some betting. Our room is trackside so if we wanted, we could watch right from our room!

Sunday I need to run 5 miles to stay on track for a half marathon in May. Then we're going to take a canvas picture from our wedding and go to a cute spot to get our picture taken. I want to do something like this over the years:

  • Today I have 3 job interviews to go to.  I haven't even thought of this weekend yet because I've been so ABSURDLY busy.  This week alone, I have interviewed for 11 different jobs.  Yes, 11.

Thank God my mom bought me a ton of suits for my birthday.

So yeah...this weekend I'll actually get to take a break.  I think margaritas may need to be involved...
  • MHoll: When will you be moving in with your FI? Moving is such a pain in the butt. I'm not looking forward to that in the future!

Peek: Target kills my wallet. Good luck!

Buddy: Where are you guys going to dinner tomorrow? Can you do my grocery shopping too?

Bean: Work on the weekends is lame :( I want pics of Bean tomorrow!

Danser: You definitely should NOT have gone to work today. What were you thinking?! And YES go buy a bridal mag immediately!

Tiger: The frames looks so good! I hope you win big at the casino, that sounds like so much fun!

  • one of the pups woke me up at 4 AM puking...  so I took care of her and got another 20 minutes of sleep or so.  I haven't really slept all week (dang hormones!) so I feel a little like a zombie today.  then, Baxter pooped on the carpet because H didn't let them outside long enough, so I got to clean that up.  and then Bella puked a ton as I was walking out the door, all over the living room carpet.  so I had to go back in and clean that up.  thankfully my mom is off work today, so she is going to come over and check on her and possibly take her to the vet.  *sigh*

this weekend?  I don't even want to think about it.  tonight we have a state-wide district event for ministers that we are attending.  tomorrow is grocery shopping and STUDYING for an acct test that I'm so not ready for; it's on Monday so I have to get this down.  Sunday is church pretty much all day.  I am so anxious about this weekend, ready for next week.  I'd rather drink chocolate milk and lounge all weekend!

Well I'm moving home for a few months since my lease ends in August and I don't want to sign a new lease. I'll live at home until November and I'll slowly start moving things over to his place but I won't live with him until after we are married. I know what you mean though about moving, during college I moved all the time and I absolutely hate it! Although it is like second nature to me now...it's still a pain.

  • @Peekaboo2011 & cu97tiger:  Good luck with your training!  I'm training for a 10k, and have a 3.5 mile run tomorrow morning to stay on track.  Peek-your training run tomorrow is my total distance goal, how funny.  I've heard those Tough Mudders are killler, can't wait to hear about it.  Do either of you foam roll for soreness?  My hips are bugging me a bit.

Other than that, no big plans which is just fine with me.  FI suggested snowboarding one more time, but I feel lame and want to hang around the house, get my training runs in, go to Costco, and get some preparation done for Easter and DD's birthday party next weekend.

Oh man I can't imagine! I think the hardest thing about moving in with FI is figuring out what we want to keep and what we need to get rid of because there is no way both of our stuff that we have collected over the years will all fit into his new apartment. It should be interesting...I see a Garage Sale coming up in the near future.

  • I'm awake at 8:30 am on a Friday. Don't worry, I'm shocked too.

My BFF came over last night (which was soooo good) and stayed the night since she had a job interview up here by me. I woke up at 7 am (WHO AM I???) and made her breakfast and then sent her off with luck.

This weekend I'm going to see what details I need to work out for our marriage blessing on Monday and get that all scheduled. I'll probably go and hang out with my dad tomorrow. Today may be a hang in bed and drink all the alcohol I bought last night kind of day. Oh, and I'll be editing my programs.

I had work stuff all weekend, but I cancelled it. Sunday we're having a kickball tournament and I'm actually looking forward to it because I'll be seeing my own friends as well, which will be nice to clue them into what's happening.

I want to come spend the weekend with every single one of you. I'll start by going shopping with Peek.

  • Y'all sound like you all have exciting weekends! :)

Tonight, BF and I are cooking dinner then heading to the Plaza Theater in Atlanta to see the midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show with some friends and my roommate.

Tomorrow we might be driving back to Atlanta, if we're not too tired, and going to see the Georgia Aquarium!

Sunday, we'll just be resting all day.

I am so ridiculously excited for this weekend because it's actually the first time EVER that BF and I will spend the entire weekend together. It'll be really interesting because we've never spent that much time with each other at one time. Hopefully we can handle it but BF says he's not worried. But then, he never worries about anything lol.

Also, funny story that happened last night. So last weekend, I bought a bunch of new clothes and I've been wearing them all this week up until yesterday. Yesterday, I wore a top that I have worn millions of times before around BF.

    This was our conversation...
BF: "I like that new shirt, it's nice."
Me: "Um...I've worn this shirt before...like countless times around you. It's not new."
BF: (sheepish) "Oh. Well it looked new...I don't know, I don't pay attention to women's clothing."

Sigh. Men are so clueless lol.

  • I can't believe it's Friday already. This week flew by for me - mostly because I should have been busy selling all week and of course, I sold nothing. I hate sales. I'm ready for a new job. I applied to three yesterday and will hopefully apply to a lot more this weekend.

BF and I went out to our favorite casual restaurant last night. We discussed our jobs, of course, and the fact that he really needs to get serious about applying to new jobs. We also talked about moving out of state - maybe CT or northern VA? I don't think it will happen anytime soon, but I'm definitely open to the idea.

We don't really have plans this weekend except maybe crashing a friends' friend's birthday party in the city. I reeeaaally want to take Kaya to the dog park even though she's probably still in heat - she hasn't been there in weeks! At the very least, we'll probably take her on some nice long walks around the neighborhood.

Yesterday, I wore a top that I have worn millions of times before around BF.  This was our conversation... BF: "I like that new shirt, it's nice." Me: "Um...I've worn this shirt before...like countless times around you. It's not new." BF: (sheepish) "Oh. Well it looked new...I don't know, I don't pay attention to women's clothing." Sigh. Men are so clueless lol.

I love the Georgia Aquarium!!! I haven't been there in a few years but FI spent last Friday there with his students on a field trip and they got to see the new penguin chicks and he said there were so many of them and they were so cute! Is this your first time going there?

[QUOTE]I can't believe it's Friday already. <strong>At the very least, we'll probably take her on some nice long walks around the neighborhood.</strong>

<div>I've been walking with Molly and I love it, except that she pulls on the leash a lot. Like, a very annoying amount, especially when she finds a new smell. Then we have to stand there for 5 minutes while she sniffs around. The worst part is that we're in the neighborhood behind my apartment complex, so these are people's yards who I'm not even a neighbor with... </div><div>
</div><div>I went on a walk without her the other night and I felt so guilty leaving her at home, but it was the most enjoyable walk ever. </div>
