Which Dress Best Suits My Venue and Small Wedding???

I purchased this dress from DB thinking because I am having a small wedding (40 people) and that this is my second wedding I had to have a simple dress.

I recently found this dress no longer fits me (long story) and went dress shopping again. I found this dress and LOVE it!

My question....is the second dress too fancy for a small intimate wedding? My FI will be wearing a black suit and my 2 bridesmaids will be wearing this dress.

Definitely looks appropriate. Your gown isn't over the top, just has a little more detail than the original. Your BMs will be wearing long dresses so it's not a completely informal affair. I think you'll look and feel BEAUTIFUL!

I think your second choice is lovely. It is not too fancy. I am going through the same thing. I am on my third marriage and bought the first gown I saw because the sales woman talked me into it. And, now I am regretting it. I say go with what you love.

I had my third wedding with a very formal dress, and there was only 4 of us in attendence. Do what makes you happy. Do you love the dress? If the answer is yes I say go for it.
