I am looking for a band for my Sept 2011 wedding in NYC. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferably one that can play a range of music - swing, classic rock, 80s, oldies, etc.

    Soul Revival!!!  They played at our wedding and were amazing!!  DH and I loved them and they played a big range of music, which was perfect for us and our guests.  I can't say enough good things about them!!!

    Alive 'n Kickin are amazing and very affordable! I booked them for my Wedding and have seen them at a past wedding and 3 other events.  They will play any song and learn anything they don't know.  And you also get to choose the whole song list, while most bands let you choose 10-15 and then they play their specialities.  Good Luck!

    747 Orchestra is the band we used.  They absolutely MADE our wedding AMAZING!! They have been around longer than any other band and it is easy to see why.
    Their songs, their energy and the coolness of the musicians kept everyone dancing all night.  They were so easy to work with and worked with us pricewise.  :)

    Our wedding band was the Dreamteam from the NYC Swing Company.  I'd highly recommend them.
