    Yep.  DD2's wasn't much - I just made the tutu and the hat and threw leggings and the shirt on her.  Next year she will probably be able to choose her costume so I'll get into hers a bit more like I did DD1's.

    Actually, MIL made the hair.  She said it took 3 things of yarn.  (what's the word I'm looking for?)

    I braided it and DD1 put the flowers in.

    DG, those are awesome.
    And Taw, I love how the dress turned out
    (and you're looking for the word skein :)

    I dont have pics yet.  My kid refuses to wear her costume after the first day.  and she said lsat year's costume (which does still fit) was 'to hot!  warm mamma, help" and strips it off.  So, we'll see if we actually get dressed up tonight.

    Love it! I will post tomorrow of DS. He still doesn't quite get the dressing up part. Oh well. We did some decorating yesterday and DS said we were giving our house some "Happy Halloween".

    The dolls are a new addition and I don't know that he's really figured it out.  He just sees all the decorations and asks why we don't have them.

    Hee.  DD1 was the same way.  We put up decorations inside the house and then she saw some houses decorated like Barbie's with lights and such outside and she decided we needed them.

    I talked her out of it by reminding her we'd decorate the outside for xmas soon.  I didn't want to go buy all new halloween stuff 2 days before, you know?
