Truffle Favor: 2 or 4

We are considering doing a small box of truffles as our wedding favor. We are trying to keep our budget down, but don't want our favors to look 'too cheap', yet we have heard that many guests leave their favors behind. Would you recommend a small box of 2 or 4 truffles per person?

    I love truffles, so I personally would want four, but I really do think two is enough. Just a small 'thanks for coming' gift, you know?

    Since I love truffles, I wouldn't be sad to get 4.  But I'd also be okay with 2.  What does your budget comfortably allow?

    I personally would do three. Not because it in between but because if they want to have one, they would still have two to take home.

    We made truffle favors for our engagement party.  they were well loved, and we did 2 per box.  they were very rich, and 2 was pleanty.  I think two is a good number.  I like the three suggestion above, but it is really hard to find cute boxes that will hold 3.

    I think 2 would be plenty, if each person gets them then a couple would be going home with 4.

    We did truffles for our daughter's box.  We bought the Lindor ones and two fit in each box perfectly.  (We bought the favor boxes from efavormart.)
