Indicating meal choice

We're about to order our invitations. This sounds like an obvious question, but when you have more than one person RSVP on a reception card and you have boxes next to three meal choices, how do you know which guest wants fish and which wants chicken when making the place cards?

    Depends.  I did separate lines/boxes for each guest on ours.  (Pictures in my bio.)  If it's not like that, you usually request that people initial by their entree choice.

    I also did seperate lines for each guest.

    Instead of having boxes, you could have lines and tell them to initial next to their meal choice.

    I'm doing the initial thing. We're having three choices for entree and I am doing custom menu/placecards.
