Where Can I Find Chinese Ribbons for a Chinese Ribbon Dance?

Hello Knotties,

I want to do a a chinese ribbon dance with my bridesmaids during my reception. Did anyone ever do chinese dance? Does anyone know where to buy chinese ribbons, internet or a store in the East Coast?

    I've purchased them before at a gift shop in Chinatown Philadelphia called Shanghai Bazaar. My cousin did a ribbon dance at college and this is where the group got their ribbons from.  I think they were about $12 each.

    You can also make them. I taught my High School dance team a ribbon dance and we literally made the ribbons. Find a fabric that is light and easy to cut, cut the fabric to the desired length, I'm think about 10-12 inches and then wrap them around chopsticks or even sticks at hobby stores. Fasten with rubber bands.
    You might have to try one first to see if they will flow the right way, but not hard at all! And super cheap!
