Dress - what do people think?

I know, I'm way way early in this yet, but I found my dress and to me, it's 110% perfect and yes, I ordered it.  It's still modest for the ceremony, but I can take the lacy top off and it's still wedding looking, but it's more "me" and fun.

i like the idea of the dress a lot, however something about the buttons on the front of the lace part bothers me - thought you would appreciate honest feedback, not trying to be rude or anything :)

I love the lacey victorian look.  Very pretty.  The buttons are going to strike some people as a bit odd, but it's the period look.  And I like the period look.  Very soft and feminine!

    Thanks everyone!

Nope, the button comments are fine with me!  I was thinking the same thing in pictures and on the hanger.  Glad I got bribed into trying it on, it's great on me.  I think the help is that I'm pretty flat chested, and I'm not going to try to fake more up top in the dress, so the buttons aren't really a central focus type thing.

Now, if we can just pick a date and STAY with it.  Trying to get 2 families to agree on one day...
