children at bridal party

My mother is planning my shower for me. The issue we are having is that my future brother in laws are 7 and 10.. as are my fiance's cousins there all under the age of 10 and theres about 6 of them. Is it really necesary to have them at the shower?. They wont be coming to the wedding but they were at the engagement party. The places we are thinking of really arent children friendly. Im really stuck on this! please help

are they invited to the wedding? if not-then no-no shower invite.
and they are boys. generally showers are just women, unless you're having a jack and jill.
if they're (not 'there') all under 10 and the place is not child friendly I don't see why they'd be invited anyway........

I don't think it is at all necessary to have them at the shower, especially if they aren't invited to the wedding. And as alithebride pointed out, if it is an all female shower, 10 year old boys probably shouldn't and wouldn't want to be there.
