Re: Confessions

  • I just had to add to the confessing party, I confess that when I want to park at my work and someone is in what I call "my spot" I get mad my name isn't on it but I feel it should be and in some ways I am a creature of habit. I use the same parking space and locker and if someone else takes one of those things I get angry. I don't say anything because I know it's odd.

  • I confess that someone came into my work the other day, and I haven't been able to get her engagement ring out of my head.  It was amazing.  I told her how beautiful it was and she said her FI custom made it - diamonds and purple sapphires.  I want.  I've had engagement on the brain since our anniversary when we were talking about it, and BF said that he wanted to propose but hadn't found the ring yet.  I need some extra patience.

I confess I'm worried about going home this month.  I haven't been home in 8 months, and even though I'm very excited, I'm dreading the "why don't you go back to school/get a better job/get a better apartment/etc." talks.  Home visits usually mean lectures from both our parents.  I know they mean well, but still.

I confess that as I'm about to turn 25, I'm all sad.  I used to think (years ago) I'd have a super awesome career and be married by now.  Ha...nope.

  • Hi, no one may ever see this, but I'll confess anyway.

I confess that I wish I had had more say in my e-ring. I know mine is pretty and unique and I love that my DH designed it himself. On the other hand, I want a rock someday.

I confess that I probably haven't spent as much time job searching as I should. I feel like I'm being extra picky when really, I just need to have some income right now.

    I confess that I'm ready for a baby :)

I confess that I'm always late to the party... figuratively and literally!

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • I confess I love the influx of NEY posting traffic, excluding the 15 year olds wanting to get married--no offense, but I don't love those posts.

I had my first good dream last night/this morning in I dunno how long.

Buggle--I agree with Ray, a lot of change is overwhelming. I was all wrapped up in it for a while after the wedding then, BOOM it got to me. It'll feel better soon.

    Tiger-- I read them. ;)

  • Wait, 15 year olds can get married now?!  I didn't even have my first date (or first kiss) until I was 16.  I'm so NOT mature.  This sucks.

In other news, I confess that I can totally understand not having as much in common with old friends when I went home for the holidays.  I was ready to slap my one friend as she came off extremely teachery and condescending (as in, I'm smarter than everyone in the room because I qualify for Mensa.  Um, no, you're not.)  This is a bigger problem because I'm a teacher too, so I mean...I shouldn't be mad someone is acting like a teacher, haha.  I just don't act like that (I hope.)

I also confess that I've been torn between telling my BF I want a new ring versus a ring I already have from my grandma.  I love this ring I already have (wear it every day, though) and I feel like a new one might not get as much love, haha.  I'm obviously over thinking this.  So I think it's going to be up to BF, so I don't have to decide.
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton

[QUOTE]Anyone up for a confessions thread on this lovely...*checks calendar*....Wednesday?

I have another confession and this one has been laying on my heart for like the past couple months...UGH!

Ok, I don't know about you but when someone comes up to me and tells me that there will be a surprise for me in the next day or two whether it be for my bday or something random I get really really anxious about it and I can't stop thinking about it and it drives me nuts! So, in all honesty I prefer to just be surprised instead of being told I'm going to be surprised soon...haha. So the situation is, my BF told me around Thanksgiving that he wants to propose to me before May 2013... and I'm like hgsihgosfuhgdfg OMG! Now... I can't stop thinking about it because I'm super excited but I have no idea when it will happen in the next 5 months and I want my mind to be at ease! I want to calm down but I really can't!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Confessions : Just in case you are still cruising this thread, I did WW a while back. I started when I was 17 and weighed 240 pounds. In a year, I was down to 143 (97 pounds gone). I am now back up to 170, but that is because I kind of stopped tracking and I turned 21. I worked for them for a little over a year. I would highly recommend their program because it is doable and not a fad diet. ETA: I mentioned the "turned 21" part because I made sure I used my right to drink. I didn't get out of hand, but by golly, if I could buy a beer with dinner I was!
