    I failed miserably this past week.  Hope to get back on track today with the gym.

    No 30DS this weekend because we were super busy. And I took the easy way out yesterday and just did a Pilates routine because I was so tired. But today I am back with Level 3!! Hopefully I can keep it up all week. I feel SO lazy and sluggish.

    I weighed in on Friday and lost 4.8 lbs in one week somehow.  I have a feeling a lot of that was water weight, but still.  I'm almost back down to my pre-Christmas weight.  I wasn't doing really bad there for awhile.

    I need to get back into going to the gym on a regular basis.

    after a 2 month break (ugh) i finally got back into it this week.  Went for a 20 mile bike ride this past saturday, took the dog for a 2 mile walk both sunday and yesterday.  my legs are still killing me from the bike ride... i cant believe how out of shape i got.

    I failed this weekend. Big time. And yesterday I was so run down and tired that all I did was sleep.

    Today however I am getting back on track.

    Thankfully with the exception of this weekend I have been good in my eating habits and I'm back on track after the weekend of indulgence.

    Um, I lost 10 lbs last week from being sick... and I don't know where I lost it from. At all. I did start dancing more often, which is awesome. I apparently suck at the 100 pushup challenge... and the 200 sit up challenge. I'm screwed for Lent this year. I didn't do anything I set out to do.

    I did however discover the salad bar in the cafeteria... and I love that they have french dressing, which is the only way I'll eat a salad. :)

    I got on the scale on Monday morning and realized I weighed 125.8.
    There is no way I can fit into my itty bitty cocktail dress this weekend with that kind of weight!

    So I am really watching what I'm eating and Jillian is my bestie again.  This morning I got on and was 123.4  :)

    Amer - I sort of want to strangle you (in the nicest possible way). 125 is my goal. It seems completely unobtainable!

    Bean, I'm also only 5'2 with a tiny frame.  125 on my body is a lot of weight.

    Lbs. are not my friend. I don't put much stock in what the number says anymore because I know I have been gaining muscle with this workout. And my clothes fit much more loosely.

    St. Patrick put a damper on my fitness last week. Saturday I was up 2 lbs.

    I also have to get back to the gym. I have been busy with random things then when I am free I just want to be lazy! Some on tell me not to be lazy!

    I did Ab Ripper X on Saturday for the first time and I'm still sore. Not even kidding haha. I made it through the whole workout though, which I was proud of. We're doing it again tonight. Hopefully I survive!

    This.  I think 142 is the smallest I've seen in my adult life.  This week I was up 3 pounds at WW (ewww).  The bachelorette party totally killed me.  Alcohol points are killer.  My plan is to get back on track this week and take it back off.

    Amer shut your face! I could blow you down with my breath. haha. Skinny minnie, and those boobs are 10 lbs of that weight :) 

    I don't care about working out or what I eat. :)   I just want the day to be here!

    Lets see-- i was in atlanta so all I did was eat fried foods :-P oh and drink beer. Sweet!

    and with this rib injury its hard for me to keep up my usual gym routines.  I'm going crazy not running. Doing spin classes again which make you sweat you butt off (is this such a thing as a comfortable bike seat- bc I've never found one)...but I start PT with my cousin on Saturday so hopefully that will speed the healing process and get me back on track


    and I hear ya Amer- I'm 5'2 and feel your pain that any little weight gain is highly noticeable :-P

    Umm, I'm with Bean on this one - 125 is my goal too, AND I'm 5'2, heh. Although I've def got a big frame, so 125 is the weight I looked my best. Any less than that and I look like a skelton.

    I had to skip yesterday because I could barely get out of bed, my back hurt so bad (we tiled the bathroom shower this weekend and I felt about 102 when we were done). So I made up for it today by getting up waaay earlier than I normally do and kicking butt on both cardio and strength training. And I have softball practice today so I'm excited about that.

    I'm almost at the 15lb mark, and I've been frustrated because I felt like I hit a plateau the past week or so, but then I took my measurements this morning and I've lost another 2 inches from my belly and my waist. So I guess maybe I'm gaining muscle and that's why the scale is not going down? But at least it's not going back up, heh.

    I'm nervous about this weekend though - a good friend of mine is coming in from MN and I won't be able to get to the gym, and we will def not be eating healthy, heh. At least we'll be walking around the city all weekend.

    Last week was a planned "step-back" week in my Broad St training.  It's supposed to help you take a small break and hopefully gain some strength.  So last week I only ran 6 total miles and then did cross training a couple days at the gym.  I think it helped because I definitely dropped my average pace by about a minute/mile.

    This week...12 miles, including the Phillies 5k.

    Right now my only form of exercise is picking up boxes, hauling them up stairs, and putting them down.  That's enough for me. 

    I actually think I got a decent workout this weekend between painting and polishing floors.  Lots of squats.  Next week I'll get back to regular workouts and want to start jogging around the neighborhood. I can't wait!!

    Hee hee, sorry couldn't help it. :)

    That is good exercise though - I remember when we moved - my SO's dad was like "so when are you putting in the elevator?" We have a lot of stairs in our house and my legs were def feeling the burn when we were done.

    Yeah, I was thinking about that too, haha.  My knees have been aching the past few days, so I know I'm doing something, at least for my legs and butt.

    I'm with you on this and totally know how Amer feels. I'm 5'2" and gained 5 lbs and NONE of my clothes fit because of it. I don't care what the scale says, I just wish I could gain and look "curvier". I turn into a frumpy little thing, all goes to my middle.

    But anyway, yeah. I'm terrible at working out. I have a wedding in 3 weeks and no longer fit into the BM dress. Ugh.

    I haven't been 125 since I was um.... probably 16.  And at that point, I looked anorexic.  My goal is 140.  I was 140 for my wedding.  

    Since starting the low carb/ low sugar diet I have lost 3 lbs.  I it doesn't sound like a lot, but it is to me because I suck at losing weight.   

    Granted we are going on a cruise next week so all weight loss will be gone, but at least I hopefully won't gain..  

    When we get back home, we are going to continue with the low carb diet, or potentially cross into WW, not sure yet.  But sticking to something healthy and focusing on whole foods and no processed foods.
