Diamond White Bolero

So my dress is diamond white and now I am looking for a bolero to match.  If I got one that was Ivory do you think it would clash? I am having a hard time finding one that I like in diamond white.  Help!

    check with the designer of your dress.  Most of the time they can make something to match

    This McCall's pattern is out of print, but available on their website. It's M4450


    From that pattern I made the lace bolero below, but shortened the sleeves to just below elbow length. With lace, it's less noticeable if the color is a bit off......just my opinion.


    The pattern is SUPER simple, and if you want to go that way, I always recommend considering that the pattern size needs to probably be about 2 sizes larger than you need. Most patterns today come in groupings of sizes, ie 2, 4, 6 in one pattern, then 8,10,12 in another. The cut lines are marked for the size you want. I used a remnant of alencon lace with pearls already sewn on about a year before I even met my hubby, which was over 4 years ago. Of course this was for my "Hope chest" LOL.
