DIY envelope liners?

Hi!
I've maxed out my invite budget on ones I love so I'm attempting to do the envelope liners myself to try to save money.
Has anyone done envelope liners with helpful tips?
Any suggestions on sites with good, easy directions: which type of glue to use, and which site has black elegant/ affordable paper for it?
Thanks!

Re: DIY envelope liners?

  • There are a few bios with instructions on the DIY board-- I'd ask there. One helpful tip I heard this weekend is do not put any tape or glue on the liner before you insert it in the envelope. The lady in Paper Source said to just slip the cut out liner in, fold it at the flap so it's all lined up, then use double sided tape along the top triangle.
  • I did them - PIB.  I used a glue stick on the liner and then put it in the envelope - it was really pretty easy.
