  If you love it, go for it! Remember, most of the time the music videos are just a unique interpretation to that particular song, it doesn't mean that's the exact context it was written for. Like MrsBenSears said, interpret it however you want!

  I think its a good love song. i think if you intrepreted it as a love song than thats how you should use. plus, i have never seen the video. so there is a good chance your friends/family/guests might not have either and then it wont even matter, they will all think its a love song too!
