What's your centerpiece preference??

Tall or short??

I looove tall centerpieces! I really love the tree/ branch look with flowers and blossoms, with hanging candles. I saw it on a wedding show and I fell in love! However, I am aware that short centerpieces are more guest-considerate and allow for unobstructed table conversation. So it's a tough choice. Because tall ones are just soo prettyyyy!! lol

Re: What's your centerpiece preference??

  • You can have tall ones, just make sure the vase is tall enough so that the flowers will be above head/ eye level when our guests are sitting down. Plus have your vase be clear so that it doesn't obstruct the guests view as well.

  • I'm thinking of doing a mix--half of the tables with tall centerpieces and half with short ones.  With the tall ones though, I like what PP said about it being tall enough to not obstruct the views

  • I like REALLY tall ones. I am going to have Deaf people at my wedding and there needs to be a way to see each other so if the vases are clear and skinny but super tall it'll work for them

  • I also thought about half and half, but we'll only have about 80 guests... making about 10 tables. I feel like that looks better in a large venue with lots of tables. Not so much in a smaller space and less tables. Or maybe not?
  • We're going to have half with flowers and half with floating candles (cost/I like both).  I love the idea of eiffel tower vases, but I'm starting to think maybe shorter is the way to go.

  • We're having both tall and short!  Every other table will have a tall and the others will have short.  and yes, I agree that tall centerpieces are very pretty!!!  and since I can't decide between one or the other we're using both.
  • I decided to do short but with floating candles around the centerpiece on every table. I love the look of the tall vases but when I actually saw it at a wedding with all the tables together it just looked confusing lol........maybe it was just me but I am going with short and sweet floating candles and rose petals scattered on the table looks really nice together.

  • I'm going with shorter centerpieces with candles around it and rose petals scattered. I love the look of tall but I don't think its in my budget.
