My typical breakfasts, lunches and dinners are all quite healthy. I'm actually really proud of how I've been able to change my habits from cookies and chips to bananas and veggies.
My one great obstable right now is a late afternoon snack. I still crave doritos or something very unhealthy at this point in the day. I can't think of a good snack that will fill me up for about two hours and that I actually crave at that point.
What do other people eat for snacks?
Re: Afternoon Snack?
Late afternoon I can usually get by with a piece of cheese, or fruit, or a yogurt. It's that time when I get home from work when I could eat the cabinets out - I've found that dark chocolate covered almonds are great then!
I do love cottage cheese. If only I lived near a grocery store where I could buy some cottage doubles to put in my lunch! Stupid Trader Joes.
Yogurt and fruit don't cut it then - I've tried. But chocolate covered almonds would! Ha.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm happy for more!

I don't toast the oats in the microwave though. They're much more filling than the store bought kind. Another thing I like to snack on is hummus and whole wheat crackers... especially the Kashi crackers that are like triscuits.
