Good Morning

Good morning ladies,
Have I mentioned I hate Mondays?  It's very dreary outside, although I think the rain is supposed to be over.  Friday was great-FI's band sounded amazing and a bunch of my students got me up and dancing so it was a great time:-)  Saturday it rained all day long-I tried to go to a few yard sales in the morning, then spent much of the day watching Lifetime movies (love them!)  Sunday we went downtown and tried a new restuarant that specializes in fondue and sushi-it was really good! Afterwards we took a walk on the downtown mall and just window shopped.  It was a very relaxing weekend.  Now on to a busy week!  Hope everyone has a great Monday!

    Good Morning
H - I agree! I HATE monday's! It doesnt help that it is super crappy out! I would def rather just be in bed - blah...

Well I had a good weekend as well - Friday went to FIs parents place after and we had dinner and just hung out. Saturday, FI worked so I went to breakfast with FBIL and his daughter, then went to FIs nephews bday party which was really fun :) I LOVE seeing how excited they get at that age - he's 3 :) Yesterday, we went to lunch and walked around the mall - FIs family was all over for dinner and we talked about our upcoming trip to Disney! CAN'T wait!! :) I stayed up late last night watching the LOST series finale and was UTTERLY disappointed - I thought it was totally predictable and a lazy way to end the series... oh well!

H - Sounds like a great weekend! Glad you had fun at FIs concert!

Good Morning! DH and I had a fantastic time at the art gallery reception on Sat. evening, and ended splurging on a piece!! It's a limited edition etching of a rhino (Dali was obsessed with them), meaning there are only 1,900-2,000 in existence. They knocked like 25% off of the price b/c the frame is scratched, but they're re-framing it for us! I'm so excited- can't wait to pick it up later this week! Other than that, it was just the normal weekend. We're renewing the lease on our 1 BR apartment instead of getting a 2 BR. As much as I wanted more space, money would've been tighter, and I'd rather save for the future.

H- Sounds like a nice, relaxing weekend! I can't believe you're almost a month away from the wedding, btw!

    Morning!

My weekend was good, although it flew by.. Saturday I got my hair cut and cleaned and basically relaxed most of the day and went to the cash bash. We pretty much didn't win anything. I ate entirely way too much and DF drank entirely way too much! Sunday was busy with family activities. I was happy to see my 2 year old nephew.. I had a blast playing with him! Hoping my shoes come in today!
I can't wait to make it through this week bc I have a 4 day weekend coming up at the end of the week!

H- I also watched some LMN Saturday! Love them!
G- I didn't watch Lost, but I heard about the ending, I would be disappointed to! Did you think there would be a different outcome?
Kim- Great job on the art deal! That's so exciting!

GM!  Why do the weekends seem to disappear! Saturday, my parents and I spent the day out my house fixing/painting/etc.  DF and I went to a birthday party for our friend's 2 y/o.  G- I agree, they are sooo excited over the little things.  Sometimes I wish at this point in my life I could be as excited over bubbles and M&Ms as Anna was!

I've never seen Lost, so I'm not familiar with the show at all.  But it seems to be all the hype!

H-Sushi and fondue in one place sounds like HEAVEN!  I hope it was good!
    G- What a fun weekend!
Kim- Yay for getting a new art piece for your apt!  You'll be happy you don't have to pack up all of your stuff and move it to a new apt! Moving could possibly be the worst thing ever! ahah

    Good Morning,

I will agree with all of you and say I hate Mondays!

My weekend was nice. My friends came into town b/c they were going to a wedding, which they said was fun, but it had a 21 and over guest list (and it was in a public mansion, not like a bar/club) and two members of the wedding party (husband and wife) have a new born baby who needed to be fed, so the mother of the baby, brought a sitter and the sitter brought the baby over only when he needed to be fed. Apparently, the mother of the bride flipped out and started screaming (in front of people) to the mother feeding the baby and her husband b/c the baby was there. So ridiculous!!

So, with my friends in town we ate a lot and hung out. It was a nice weekend!

H- Yay for sushi, I had it on Saturday night.
GMC- My nephew is three and so much fun!
    Kim- Yay for splurging!
Ros- bummer you didn't win anything.
Duq- I bet your home is really starting to come together.

    have a great day!

I had a terrible weekend, so yes I agree monday's are awful.  We headed home this wekend for my MOH's bridal shower.  DH was driving since I am nervous after my wreck, well he fainted and drove us into a guard rail in the opposite lane.  He had a coughing spell and just couldn;t get enough oxygen.  He's since been to doctor and they diangosed him with acute asthma, allergies, and acid reflux.  Geico is so going to cancel us.  Our equinox (what we were driving Friday) has lots of damage but is driveable.  DH is with insurance adjuster now, determining what happens next.

    Hope everyone's day improves!

j/l - that is so nuts - I hada  21 and over guest llist and would have NEVER flipped on that.  I would have thanked them for being considerate.  the mother was considerate enough to get a sitter, but I am a litte confused why she didn't just pump and then the sitter could bottle feed the milk? seems less hassle/she could enjoy herself more if she had done that.

GM everyone!  My weekend was great b/c I had nothing that I HAD to do.  Saturday a friend and I went shopping then FI and I ordered Chinese and watched the Sex and the City marathon on TBS.  Sunday was grocery shopping, laundry and wedding stuff.  This week is going to be crazy for me!  This evening I am driving to Pittsburgh to pick my sister up at the airport b/c she finally has a dr. appt with a good foot & ankle specialist Tues. am then she has her MOH dress fitting and then we are going to lunch w/ FSIL & FMIL.  After that we have to drive down to Harrisburg b/c its my dad's birthday for dinner with the fam.  Then I have to work back in MD on Wed.  After work on Wed., FI and I are driving up to Harrisburg again b/c my lil bro graduates Thursday from high school.  I will then stay in Harrisburg but FI will go back home for work Friday.  Afte work, he's coming back up b/c Sat. is my bridal shower!  After the bridal shower, my BMs and I are headed to Philly for bachelorette party stuff.  Then on Sun. its back to Harrisburg and later back to MD.  I'm going to be exhausted come Monday!

H- Wow sushi and fondue that sounds interesting!
GMC- That sounds like a fun weekend w/ the fam!
Kim- You'll have to show us a pic of the piece when you pick it up!  I love Dahli
Ros- even though you didn't win anything, at least it sounds like you had fun Sat. night!
Duq- That's nice to have help with all the painting and fixing up!
Jl - Yay for having visitors!  That's so rude about the MOB!
B - That must have been so scary! Where you awake when all of this was happening?  Hope DH feels better soon!

Good morning!  I'm officially living in sin :)  I moved into FI's apartment yesterday!  We sure picked a hot day to do it- 90 degrees!- but the move actually went really well and very quickly, and I got a heck of a lot of unpacking done yesterday before taking a break to celebrate with Thai food and a bottle of good champagne :)  Other than that, I had like four parties to attend here on Saturday (insane) but only made it to one because of packing.  I did an outdoor Zumba class Saturday morning that had a live DJ- awesome!  FI and I also had another ballroom dance lesson.  We're really improving and it's so fun!  This is also the start of my LAST week of work, eeee!

Heather, glad your FI's band is doing so well!  Sounds like a fun weekend.  I am very intrigued by this fondue/sushi place!
Gianna, sounds like a great weekend with family!  How soon are you guys headed to Disney?
Kim, congrats on the art purchase!  I'd love to see the a pic of the print as well.
Trisha, glad the party was fun on Friday, even if you didn't win!  Any special plans for the long weekend?
Meg, hope the home improvements are still going well!  It must be so fun to have your own place to decorate.
Kim, wheeewwww, your week sounds insane!  That's a lot of driving and a lot of exciting stuff happening at once.

Bri, woman, you need to catch a break one of these days!  Are you both doing ok?  Will the car need extensive repairs?

G-sounds like you had a nice, family filled weekend!  Glad it was fun!
Kim-I'm glad you guys spurged on a nice piece at the art show!  It's something you'll have forever, and could be an investment piece.  I can't beleive I'll be down to a month on Wednesday either-crazy! However, I feel totally prepared except for things that can't be done until the week before.
ros-sounds like the cash bash was fun even if you didn't win anything-they are always fun social events!
Megan-how's the house coming?  You guys sound like you're on the ball!  I'm jealous, as we undertake 1 room per year when it comes to fix ups-otherwise FI and I would probobly kill each other:-)
J-Yikes!  A baby has to eat, that mother needed to calm down a bit.  I'm glad you got to hand out with your friends though.

Bri-OMG!  I'm so glad you guys are ok.  That must have been so scary with DH passing out and wrecking the car.  I can't beleive that he passed out.  I hope he's doing better now.  Sending you guys major vibes!

kime-holy cow your week sounds busy!  That's a lot of driving.  I hope you have fun though-it seems like you are doing so many different things!

Wow, lots of stuff happening! I will be sure to take a pic of our new piece once we bring it home. Which reminds me, I need to call Allstate to see how this affects our renter's insurance...

Jl- Yikes, sounds like she went mom-zilla. I'm sure that put a damper on things. I agree with Bri, she could have pumped, but still, seriously?!

Bri- I'm so sorry to hear about the wreck. Sending many good vibes your way! So can DH's condition be treated/controlled? I hope he gets everything figured out soon.

kime- that sounds like a crazy, but fun and exciting week. I'd hit up the nearest Starbucks if I were you, lol.

LaFemme- I'm glad to hear the move went well. Yay for celebrating with champagne- that's so sweet! I hope you have a great last week at work!

Jamie, how did I miss responding to that story?  That is nuts about the MOB yelling at the mom, not to mention extremely rude.

Bri- Oh goodness!!! That is crazy! I'm glad you guys are alright, but I think you both need to lay-low for a while. Oy Good luck with the insurance. I'm so sorry that you are having such bad luck lately. boo!

LaFemme- Yay for living in sin! My cousin said this and I think it is the perfect quote, "My FI isn't the best roommate I've ever had, but he's my favorite." :) thai food and champagne is the perfect celebration!

Kime- That is A LOT of driving! Be Careful!!!!!

I know about the MOB! I'm glad I wasn't at the wedding, because I would've left right away. Also, the mother feeding was the groom's brothers wife, so to me that is even worse because they kind of had to be there. I just thought that was in such bad taste!

kime - the first one I totaled and have had a check sitting in our bank account for about 3 weeks, just have been content to drive the suv DH wrecked Friday night, so need to get going on buying a new one.  And yes, I was awake. I had no idea he was not. BE CAREFUL ON THE ROAD!!!

DH has been to every jeep dealer in a 20 mile radius and it;s not looking good for me to get one today.  Seems we'll be renting a second car.  Anyone familiar with a good one way rental place for DH - his company truck is in baltimore.

lafemme - yay for living in sin, I love the quote that jl threw out there.
ros - what's a cash bash?  I missed that earlier, lol.

Bri - I have recently rented from Alamo and Enterprise, both with good results.  The one with Alamo was one way and I booked it through priceline.  GL with all the insurance hassle and finding a new car.  Keep us posted!  I hope everything turns out ok!

    Jamie, love that quote!

I've also had great luck with Priceline for cheap, cheap rates, and they only use recognized national rental companies.

Heather, I wasn't totally sold on doing the outdoor class (I get sunburned so easily, I don't like having to wear sunglasses when I work out and jump around) but the weather really cooperated and it turned out perfectly that morning :)  It was fun!
