I usually start listening right after Thanksgiving. My family has a tradition where we start the music as we sit down to Thanksgiving dinner. :)

I usually start the weekend after Thanksgiving, when I put up my Christmas tree.

I start listening to xmas music consistently right after Thanksgiving...While baking all my pies for Thanksgiving I had it playing, too :)

Shan...my FI was also annoyed when I turned on Xmas music this weekend!

I don't usually start the christmas music up until a week or so before christmas. I guess I don't have any of my own cds so I don't usually listen to any radio stations that are playing christmas music. I get in the christmas sprit by shopping for people!

When I am forced to hear it in every store I enter :)
I don't have or play any myself. I'll occasionally turn to the XM Holly station if the mood hits me...doesn't happen very often.

As soon as they start playing it on 102.9!! I love everything about Chrismas :) Whenever we are in the car and I try to put it on FI changes the station lol...I'm a little upset we don't have a tree yet! This weekend though, decorating, getting a tree,  baking cookies and christmas music all the way!!

It was on in the car this weekend. We both looked at each other laughed and promptly changed the station. I'm getting there after today's pretty snow though.

This. I'm all about Christmas movies, I watch those while I'm decorating, but I'm really not a fan of Christmas music. I don't know what it is....maybe working in a mall for most of my post age 16 life

Me, too.  I avoid it at all costs, but the only place where I can't do anything about it is when I'm out shopping, which I also try to keep to a minimum this time of year and do my shopping online.  I don't really get into the holidays at all, just happy when they're done and life can go back to normal.  We don't put up a tree or do any decorating, either, much to our parents' chagrin.  Maybe once we have a kid, we'll do it, but not until then.

    Bah humbug.

FI aunt had it on while we were getting things ready on Thanksgiving. Otherwise I turn it on occasionally between Thanksgiving and Christmas when I'm in the mood. No set time really.

Even after working in retails for years the store music doesn't bug me. I think part of that might be my ability to tune it out though. It's a must when they are just playing the same 10 songs over and over and over again for like 2 months straight!!!

I'll usually start listening on occasion starting on Thanksgiving. But this year, I realized that I'm okay with holiday music earlier if there is snow on the ground. We just usually don't have that in mid-November. I definitely don't listen to it constantly, though.

I start on the weekend after Thanksgiving. I can't stand to listen to it a moment sooner because I have this thing about Thanksgiving-- I get mad that it has been steamrolled over by Christmas commercialism. I want to make sure that I have a day of thanks vs just a bump on the road to Christmas.

I tend to avoid it.  Don't get me wrong I love the holidays but hearing those songs over and over gets me so irritated!  I used to work in a clothing store and when I worked alone I never turned the radio on because the owner only allowed us to play one station and that station played holiday music from Halloween until New Year's.  No thank you.

I usually start when 102.9 starts playing it (which was before thanksgiving this year!). But I bust out my xmas playlist at random times throughout the year :) It always puts me in a good mood!
