I'm trying a new baked mac and cheese recipe that I hope goes over well! Im also making sweet potato casserole, which is a standard in my recipe book Wink  DH's family is bringing over other dishes, including corn pudding (never had that before, excited to try), green bean casserole, stuffing squares (Im not wild over this, so I make a bowl of stove top on the side, lol), waldorf salad, ham, and the in-laws gave us a Honeybaked Ham Turkey on Monday to defrost... so we're set. We're going to my parents for dinner - but we're bringing with us:

    Pumpkin Cheesecake
A Pumpkin Roll (like a Buche Noel but with pumpkin cake as the cake and cream cheese filling)
Fresh Green bean casserole (uses sour cream and mozzarella cheese instead of cream soup!)

Over the weekend we had two potlucks and brought:
    pumpkin sausage soup
    sweet potato gratin
    corn muffins
    sauteed green beans

:)  we've been busy in the kitchen!

Our menu was limited by what we could order here but we made:

    Apple cider brined turkey
    Garlic mashed potatoes
    Cornbread sausage stuffing
    Green bean casserole
Roasted winter veggies with maple syrup glaze
    Cranberry sauce
    Pumpkin dinner rolls
    Pumpkin pie
    Cranberry apple crisp

And it turned out well except for the roasted veggies.  Wouldn't bother with that recipe again.

We're going to the IL's for Thanksgiving (thank God for his family living in Charlotte because I'd have no idea how to cook a turkey!)

I'm bringing my corn & broccoli casserole & blueberry muffins (for breakfast since the turkey roasting & drinking will begin at 8am).

My dad cooks Thanksgiving day, so I made brownies at the request of my daughter.  Sunday we went to fiance's mom's and I took Rice Krispie Treats.  Saturday we have a Christmas Party to which I am taking a devils food cake layer with white whipped icing!  Sunday a last Thanksgiving dinner and I'm taking cupcakes with sprinkles for the kids.  Maybe next year when I have my own house I can upgrade to veggies lol!
